SCCS Bangalore invites a different illustrator each year to develop the visual identity for the conference. 

This year, the theme for the conference was conservation and communities. The idea was to reflect both, while also keeping in mind the diversity of landscapes and cultures across India. I tried to capture this richness through the use of colours and textures, contrasted with simple hand-drawn illustrations of people and animals.​
